Catherine Mills

Associate Professor Catherine Mills is an ARC Future Fellow in the Centre for Human Bioethics at Monash University. She is the author of two books, Futures of Reproduction: Bioethics and Biopolitics (Springer, 2011) and The Philosophy of Agamben (Acumen, 2008). Her current research focuses on issues in biopolitics and bioethics, especially pertaining to human reproduction. She is currently completing a manuscript on theories of biopolitics, and is lead investigator on an ARC funded project on obstetric ultrasound and selective termination of pregnancy.
