“State of exception-exception of the State: conversations about the social revolt and the pandemic”

We are delighted to invite you to the first season of the series “State of exception-exception of the State: conversations about the social revolt and the pandemic”, organized by the Centre of Studies of Applied Ethics (CEDEA) of the Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades de la Universidad de Chile, supported by IIPSS. The first session will be on Monday 27th of July at 4pm, with the philosopher Judith Butler who will present “Non-violence and Equality: Reflections on Pandemic Life”. Lieta Vivaldi will be commenting the session with Rodrigo Karmy (director of research, creation and publications of the Faculty), the  Grupo de Estudios Género y Raza: miradas interseccionales (GRI) and Noam Vilches from the University of Chile. It will be streaming on Facebook live of Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades de la Universidad de Chile (https://www.facebook.com/filosofiayhumanidadesuchile/videos). The seminar is open to everybody, and we are looking forward to your participation in the event.
