Senior Lecturer in sociolegal studies at Flinders University where she teaches decolonising approaches to law and criminology with an emphasis on crimes against populations. She holds undergraduate Honours degrees in Literature and Law and has a PhD in Cultural Theory supervised by Professor Joseph Pugliese. She has published on questions of sovereignty and refugee and asylum studies with a specific emphasis on the colonising function of law and impacts on Indigenous peoples, refugees, and migrants. She has recently coedited, with Professor Biko Agozino, the special issue ‘Law, Love and Decolonization’ in Globalizations https://www.tandfonline.com/toc/rglo20/17/7?nav=tocList and published ‘Debtscape: Australia’s Constitutional Nomopoly’ in borderlands https://www.exeley.com/borderlands/doi/10.21307/borderlands-2019-013.
