María Luciana Cadahia obtained a PhD in philosophy from Madrid’s Universidad Autónoma with a thesis on Hegel and Foucault: Life, History and Politics. She has been in charge of a Master’s Degree in Philosophy of History at the same university and she has been a visiting researcher at Sorbonne’s Paris I and at the Institute of Philosophy in the Friedrich Schiller University, in Jena. Among her different research fields, she has studied the relation between German Idealism, Romanticism and French Philosophy of Difference. Currently, she is working on a genealogical study of the concept of dispositive, tracing the underlying links between positivity (in both Schiller and Hegel) and the notion of dispositive as developed by Foucault, Agamben and Esposito. Her studies have been mostly focused on contemporary political thought and philosophy of history. She has co-edited the books Normalidad de la crisis/crisis de la normalidad, with Gonzalo Velasco (Katz, 2012) andIndignación y rebeldía. Crítica de un tiempo crítico (Abada, 2013), with professor Félix Duque. She has also published several articles in specialized magazines and collective books such as Teología y teonomía de la política (Abada, 2012), Incomunidad: el pensamiento político de la comunidad, a partir de Roberto Esposito (Arena, 2011) and Animalismo y humanismo (Arena, 2012).
