Graduate in Anthropology, PhD in Natural Sciences awarded by the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Museum of the National University of La Plata – Area of Anthropology, researcher of the National Council of Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET). Head of the chair of Applied Anthropology at the University of Aconcagua. She has participated in research projects of the CONICET and AGENPCYT, in areas of anthropology, philosophy and studies on indigenous and Afro-descendant peoples. Currently, she is responsible for the AGENPCYT project “Ethnopolitics and governmentality in an ethnographic context. Epistemic and legal-political tensions between ‘communalization’ and nomadic life-in- common routines of Huarpes ethnic ascripts”. Her main research topics are ethnopolitics, biopolitics and coloniality / modernity, based on readings of postcolonial criticism in articulation with cultural criticism and ethnography. Author of the book “Towards an Anthropology of Biopolitics” (in press).
