Ph.D in Philosophy, Universidad de Chile. Professor of the Centre for Arab Studies at Universidad de Chile. His research lines are arab political philosophy (Alfarabi, Averroes and Ibn Jaldún) and contemporary political philosophy (Leo Strauss, Benjamin, Arendt, Foucault and Agamben).
