Agostina Marchi has a BA degree in Political Science and is currently an MA student in Cultural Studies at the School of Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires. She is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law of the University of Buenos Aires and an Assistant Researcher to UBACyT project 2010-2012 “Historia filosófica de la doctrina del juicio y la interpretación: desarrollo de una matríz jurídico-política para el análisis de la crisis del humanismo” (Instituto de Investigaciones Ambrosio L. Gioja, School of Law, UBA). She is currently working, within the framework of her MA thesis, on the Foucauldian notion of «mode of subjection» in relationship with the genealogy of the different modes of knowledge that crossed the birth of what we nowadays know as «Western World».
