Paul Patton

Paul Patton es Scientia Professor of Philosophy en la University of New South Wales en Sydney, Australia. Obtuvo un Doctorat d’Université de la Universidad de Paris VIII y un MA de la University of Sydney. Sus investigaciones se centran en la filosofia post-estructuralista francesa y la filosofia politica liberal y de izquierda contemporanea, incluyendo los derechos de los pueblos indigenas colonizados. Es autor de Deleuze and the Political (Routledge, 2000) y Deleuzian Concepts: Philosophy, Colonization, Politics (Stanford, 2010). Es editor de Nietzsche, Feminism and Political Theory (Routledge1993),  Deleuze: A Critical Reader (Blackwell 1996), y co-editor (con Duncan Ivison y Will Sanders) de Political Theory and the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (Cambridge, 2000), (con John Protevi), Between Deleuze and Derrida, (Continuum, 2003), (con Simone Bignall) Deleuze and the Postcolonial (Edinburgh 2010), y (con Sean Bowden y Simone Bignall) Deleuze and Pragmatism (Routledge 2014).
